What would be the best area to stay in if we wanted to ski and also be close to the old town of Salzberg. We are beginner skiers. Thanks in advance
So if i were looking for a ski holiday (preferably France) but not too fussed, how cheap would it be with everything included… So with flights (Gatwick or Southampton ideally), accommodation, lift passes, ski/boots hire and whatever else is needed! I can’t seem to find anywhere that does the whole package?:S I’m looking for going for a week with 3 others so 4 overall (don’t mind sharing 1 room or 2 rooms). Also looking to go around the end of January 2012 but these are all just preferences, so feel free to change any details:):) THANK YOU! x
I have never been skiing before and so want to learn! I know Mount Parnassus is highly recommended and so was looking to head there, but does anyone know if lessons are offered in English?
Thank you!
Which is the best ski resort in Europe for the following:
Suitable for Beginner/Low Intermdeiate Skiers
Picturesque town/area
Good snow/weather
Not too expensive
Has a variety of different slopes
Thanks!
P.S: And if you could include an a rough price range or hotels/restaurants etc it would be much appreciated
x
I’m VERY new to booking holidays, and me and my girlfriend want to go skiing. I was wondering if there is a good site where I can get an all-inclusive price for lift passes, ski hire, flights and accommodation (as well as anything else I might have forgotten). And the cheaper the better!
I’m looking for ideas for a ski holiday, either for a weekend or week. My hubby is a keen skier and my daughter and myself are complete beginners
friends going on ski holiday for first time for a week, do you have to have lessons before you can hire the equiptment, if so how much do they cost and how long are the lessons for.
as anyone been anywhere where they would you recommend, two young couples.? appretiate any answers thankyou
I’ve never been skiing before, where would be the best place to go,Austria or Switzerland,i know Austria is a bigger country than switzerland, what resorts are the best,i would like to be close to a city,i would want to spend £500 at the most,do you have to pay separately for ski equipment and ski clothes when you go to a ski resort
I’m sorry for asking what may seem a very silly question but I’ve never been on a skiing holiday before so I genuinely know NOTHING about them. I basically want to know how to go about booking one. I’ve found accommodation and flights to one resort but need to know how do I actually go about getting on the slopes? Do I gave to buy some kind of pass? I’ve heard of lift passes, would I just be able to go up the lift and use the slope all included in the price of a lift pass? As I am a complete beginner I’d rather have some kind of instruction so how would I go about getting this and any idea what all this would cost? (So far flights and accommodation to a resort in France are setting me back £600 for 2 of us) Thanks and please feel free to add any tips/extra information as I need all the info I can get
I’m going ski-ing to France soon – only my 2nd time
I’m going on a package and it says that all ski hire equipment is included by helmets are not provided as they are not a legal requirement in France.
Forget whether they’re a legal requirement or not, would it be worth me actually getting on – either trying to hire one from a shop when I am there, or buying one before I go?
I’m not a pro skiier (have only been once in my life before) so wont be going fast. That said, the fact that I am such a beginner may actually be more or a reason to wear one as Im more likely to crash!
What do you think? Is it worth it, or will I just look stupid as nobody else in France will have one?
