My friends and I are planning a trip to Lake Tahoe this winter for snowboarding. I was wondering if anyone knows which ski resort is the best. Also, where is the best place to lodge.

What ages do ski schools start youngsters on the fundamentals of downhill skiing?

Ski was doing fine – slipped about half way off the trailer and landed on the ride plate. Did not come completely off the trailer – just stood up with the front still on trailer, but banged pretty hard on the plate. Just some gashes and small dents visible – looks like it may be bent very slightly upward – maybe a half inch. Next time to the lake it wouldn’t stop porposing.

I want to buy new ski stuff, I just wanted to know what time of year is best to get the most bang for your buck, thanks!

I have been shoping for a new ski jacket all of them have no padding in what so ever. How do these coats keep you warm?

We are planning a trip to Toronto in September and we would like to ski. I read about Glen Eden and Blue Mountain but I’m not sure if they are operating in September. I read about Whistler too, but I was wondering if there is anything else closer.

I know Mount Baker ski area in Washington state gets almost 700 inches a year (claims it’s the most in N. America). I’ve heard of some international resorts that could possibly get more but I haven’t been able to find any sites that say what the annual snowfall is. Possibly Dizin, Iran or Chimbulak, Kazakhstan. Does anyone know what these resorts get and if they’re higher than Mt. Baker?

I would like to go skiing to celebrate my birthday in February. Which ski resort is best for couples who are beginners? Also we would like to go tubing and snowboarding if possible. Thanks in advance.
