My family are planning to learn how to ski at the snowdome. I told my mum that we should have a 2hr lesson instead of the 55 min lesson because we will learn more. My mum (who has been skiing before) said that it will be boring and we should just have the 55 min lesson and then go on to the recreational slope. However, Is this allowed? are you allowed to go on the recreational slope after just one basic lesson???

I’m planning on renting a jet ski for about 4 hours for my 13th birthday. I’ve heard a few years back that at the age of 12, you can drive a jet ski, but with a parent/guardian on.

I am planning a ski vacation this winter and I chose the state of vermont to be my destination. I need some advice though about which resort and when in the season. I went to Magic Mountain last year in the middle of a snow storm and I thought i was in heaven. This year im not so sure i’ll be timing a snow storm so well so i may as well plan a little more.

My properties are prime properties- ski-in ski-out in Deer Valley, Utah, and right on oceanfront in gated community next to Seaside and Rosemary Beach in FL. In-season renters are not a problem, but with these nice properties i would think someone would be interested for the off-season.

I am a freshman and I want to work at a ski resort after college. But, I am having trouble in deciding what to major in. I like hands on work and I don’t want to sit in an office all day. Anyone that is currently employed at a ski resort, full time, and is making good money, please give me some tips.
I am interested in environmental management… would that relate to any ski resort job?

I’ll be alone for the holidays this year and would like to take a ski trip. I’m in L.A., so flying somewhere would be easy. I’m looking for somewhere that isn’t super expensive and is easy to get to if I fly into a nearby airport. I’ve checked travel sites and flights to Sun Valley and Jackson Hole are $500 +. Any ideas? I’m not sure how far I’d have to drive to find a ski resort near Tahoe if I flew into Reno. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I am supposed to bring alcohol for a ski trip I am going on. I don’t drink that much so I don’t know what would be good to bring. If you have any suggestions let me know!

We are from south texas and only seen snow once, so sometime in late December or early January we want to go to a ski resort. We are of course beginners to skiing. We just want some where not too far away, and beautiful with romantic lodges. Any suggestions? Thanks!

My ten year old daughter wants to learn to ski. I was hoping to take her tubing soon to see how that went first. We live in Delaware. Any suggestions for skiing/tubing activities would be appreciated.
