Good Ski resorts in Utah or colorado(easy best answer)?
I already tried park city utah and they were book already for Jan.?!?
I want resorts with a hotel or lodging area right inside the skiing area. like the the bear creek ski resort.
My family & another family are looking into resorts to stay at over Christmas vacation. We want to stay somewhere super nice & fancy, not just an average ski lodge. Do you know of any good ski resorts?
what is the average drive there?
how close are mountains to rosario?
will the resorts be open in july?
I am going on a ski trip this winter, and I am looking for a place in North America that offers good skiing, yet has other activities close by. We are planning on skiing for a day, leaving the resort and doing non-skiing activities for a day (museums, sight-seeing, historical sights, etc.), then skiing again.
I went to Solitude Ski in Utah, which was PERFECT for skiing (not crowded/tourist-y), but really had nothing else to do in the city that it was closest to.
Any recommendations?
I am planning a road trip across the country this winter and I am trying to find out the general cost of one-day lift tickets (not rental or lodging: just lift ticket) in places like Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, California, and Idaho and surrounding areas. Any info is much appreciated. Even if it is very location-specific.
