We are looking for a place that I can try and learn to ski. We were hoping for good snow weather in February. I would love a place that is gorgeous. We also want to be able to be in a resort or around a resort with fun amenities. Any Ideas?
Last year when i went skiing, i noticed at night there were a lot of machines at work when the mountain was shut down, i was wondering what process goes on at this time? couldn’t seem to find anything using google. thanks in advanced
List the top ten countries with their total number of ski resorts
i heard rumors there was a ski resort somewhere on the east coast(of the US). Anyone heard anything?
we need lots of none ski activities as well as great ski schools and plenty easy runs. Any ideas???
My boyfriend and I are looking to go skiing somewhere close to NJ, we were thinking Camelback in PA, or NY somewhere. We want to stay in a cabin with a fireplace, does anyone have any suggestions?? Anything really helps. I would like to stay in a cabin for sure, with hot tubs if possible.. and it would be great if there were bars in the resort or nearby.
And does anyone know of any places that have natural hot springs? I’ve always wanted to go to a hot spring. Whether at a ski resort or not.. it would be awesome at a ski resort!
I am looking to go to one of the smaller, less crowded ski resorts in the lake tahoe area. I am trying to avoid the larger ski resorts, ie Northstar, Heaveanly. Preferably it would have good ski classes and a good selection of runs. I am a intermediate to advanced skier but will be going with other less experienced people. Any recommendations or comments?
I’ve heard some of the more famous holdouts ( Alta, Deer Valley, Taos, and Mad River Glen) have throwin in the towel and allow it now, is this true?
I found 4 so far:
Aspen
Keystone
Breckenridge
Telluride
Are there more? The more the merrier.
