My focus is on Snow Boards. What kind of maintenance of the snowboards upper surface. do ski resorts spend money keeping them in a decent visual apperance and if so, how much does that typically cost per season.

Any mountains within an hour would be nice. has to have a decent park and preferably a big school. My GPA is a 3.625

Burton’s poaching program states that two of the resorts are on federal forest land. Which ones are these? Please give me a source.

im form the east and our resorts only close when theres no snow

so i was looking at webcams of places like alta, sierra at tahoe, and i really cant see any bare spots

It suddenly occurred to me when I was snowboarding….

I’m off to Courchevel tomorrow, and I was wondering… do the bars in such ski resorts normally sell cider by the pint (or half litre, whatever)? I would just drink beer, but I haven’t been able to drink more than a mouthful since age 16/17, as it makes me sick.

I’ve always wanted to learn to ski, so i was thinking about maybe having my sweet 16 at a ski resort. I live in Virginia, but I can travel pretty much anywhere on the east coast. Is there any cool ones on the east coast or should I think of something else?? I don’t want some boring resort either; I want to go somewhere, where me and my friends will have fun.

Ok… I’m sorting out skiing hol for xmas and need to find a resort that will entertain ten 20-25yr olds! )

Requirements as follows:
Good Snow
Good mix of green/blue/ed and black runs (some beginners in the group!)
Lots of runs/ ability to mountain hop
Good bars/clubs
Appartments next to slopes
Not pretentious (i.e. Val D’Isere)
