I’m thinking about places in Tahoe…

i think theyre called ski resorts…

I got a cheap deal to costa dorada in november (mainly for the theme park). Looking for other things to do now (other than wandering around touristy places). So a few questions…
are any ski resorts likely to be open and easy to get to from Salou?
If not are there any other outdoorsey activities in the area (and perhaps an indoors ski place)?

I am doing a research paper on issues facing ski resorts, but I need some good ideas.
If anyone knows of any issues facing ski resorts, please tell me!!!
I have to be able to take a for-or-against position on it.

Specifically resorts in Austria if that makes any difference.
The latest report said -4, -6. Is this okay, or does it need to be colder.

I’m talking about temperatures that keep the snow there. So it’s cold enough so that the snow doesn’t melt.

I was thinking of going to Snowbird, Brighton, or Solitude on Saturday.

and what time of year should I go?

I am looking for a summer job as a snowboard instructor. I live in WV so no resorts have enough snow to stay open all year. Does anyone know of any resorts up north or in like Canada that are open all year for skiing and snowboarding? (anywhere in the world actually, not just America and Canada)

My family will be vacationing in Ashland, New Hampshire in early 2010…I have two questions:

Where is the best place to ski in New Hampshire? and When are the ski resorts forced to close due to lack of snow? (looking for approximate date–I realize seasons vary, but I am asking for the average date the resorts close) Thanks to all!
