My husband wants to take the kids skiing but I am not much of a skier. Is there much to do that doesn’t involve skiing/snowboarding? I’m looking for stuff to do with my kids but also on my own when they’re off in classes.
I’m planning on going to Snowbasin, Powder Mountain, and a few of the Cottonwood Canyon resorts. What time of year do they usually have most of the mountain open for skiing? If I’m there January 4th through 11th what should I expect? Weather permitting of course.
By terrain I didn’t mean snowboarding features. I meant the whole mountain in general. Sorry if I confused anybody.
not only do they need to have good bowls but easy access too.
going early march, would like to be in france as other places are quite out of my way. I need to be able to use trains or other “non car” transport?
will be coming from London but am australian
I will be spending Christmas in Alsace, France and would like to go skiing / snowboarding for a couple of days after that. The resorts in France are just too expensive. Any suggestion of a more affordable place for winter sports? In Germany / Austria / Slovenia perhaps?
Thanks so much, guys.
Would be driving own vehicle to site, just need information on accommodations and prices for skiing. Also, best time to book.
i wanna go to snow valley on the saturday of the super bowl weekend…
do you think it will be as packed as usual? or less packed?
thanks in advance!
There are loads of ski resorts in Australia.
NSW has: Thredbo, Charlots Pass, Perisher Blue and Smiggon Holes.
Victoria has: Mount Hotham, Falls Creek, Mount Buller,
Mount Baw Baw, Lake Mountain and Mount Stirling.
Tasmania has: Ben Lomond and Mount Mawson.
I think Mounr Hotham in Victoria is the best reosrt in Australia but i want to know what you think.
