I am going there to visit a friend and one day while she is working I am going to go with a friend to go snowboarding. Someone help me out. WE are staying in Janesville

I have been snowboarding for about 5 years now, I live in the midwest and I’m tired of going to paoli peaks (just a hill). Im looking for a greyhound bus friendly ski resort with a cheap hotel near by?
I don’t care about a terrain park I am looking for steep black diamond type trails. I can travel but it will be by a greyhound bus.

Next winter I am going back country snowboarding in Valdez Alaska after my training with the Army.

I’m a skiier, never snowboarded. I want to learn but I’ve noticed some of the resorts I have been to are not that good at giving ski lessons. Don’t know about snowboarding though. Any recommendations?

any additional advice on transporting snowboards on a plane or which resorts to go to in the area?

Which resort in Europe has the greatest annual snowfall? Which gets the most powder days?

I’m doing a research paper on snowboarding and decided to research good resorts with the most common terrain (more jumps, steep hills, flat?) thanks.

I’m planning on going to Snowbasin, Powder Mountain, and a few of the Cottonwood Canyon resorts. What time of year do they usually have most of the mountain open for skiing? If I’m there January 4th through 11th what should I expect? Weather permitting of course.
By terrain I didn’t mean snowboarding features. I meant the whole mountain in general. Sorry if I confused anybody.
