I’ve always wanted to go skiing (proper skiing, not indoors in the uk) but that was too expensive when we were younger. well I’ve been saving for it and so have my parents and we have enough to do it.
How does ski clothing and skis work? do you have to buy them? we don’t have the money to be going skiing every year…. or can you rent them at your destination… (we don’t know where in Europe we will be going, ANY RECOMMENDATIONS?)
thank you.
I’m looking to go snowboarding over the new year period of 2011 and want to make the most of the snowfall, so am looking for the best place to go at that time.
Going on a ski holiday soon but my ski clothes are a bit dated. Looking for some fashionable gear because I don’t want to look like a dork but having problems finding some!
I’d like to ship my skis for a holiday ski trip to PA. We are then driving to Vermont. How can I ship them cheap and safely? THanks
Please don’t leave me an answer like, It will be expensive.. I need a real answer. Thank you!
Im looking to book a ski holiday for this February 2010, preferably in the beginning so not to go when its half term and all the families are they and its more expensive.
What would have good snow, good runs for intermediates and we’re aged 20-25 so looking for somewhere lively with bars and clubs and activities??
anyone suggest any particular resorts (in Europe) or accommodation they have experienced or heard about??
THANKS,
My daughter is 5 months old, we live in South Australia and it does not snow here so we go to Victoria’s Alpine ranges for a ski holiday every winter. We are not going this year because she is really young and it will be to hard but we want to go next winter and take her with us. Has anyone taken a baby to something similar? Was it a good experience? Thanks!!
Hello,
I plan to go for a ski holiday. I heard Ski resorts are very cheap in Bulgaria and Czech Republic. Which is prefereble and cheap. I would be flying from UK. I will have my 5 year old kid with me so would like to go to a family friendly place.
Any ideas about good resorts, cost of the trip would be very helpful.
Thanks

Hey
I’m looking now at booking a ski holiday in Switzerland for a few days at the start of February. Chances are i’ll probably book it through EasyJet as they have pretty good packages available. I’ve not been to Switzerland before nor have I been skiing at all, so I need a bit of advice as what I’d need to do in this regard.
The idea is that we go for the ‘snowy’ feel of it, I’d obviously need to be on the mountains for that. Problem is both myself and girl friend have not been skiing before so we would definitely need an instructor too.
Does anyone have any advice for venues, resorts, number of days I should be looking at, costs, how long I’d need an instructor for etc?
I’d rent what I could as for the moment it is more of a get away.
Thanks alot
Im not actually pregnant yet, but my period is due 14th and im ttc. Iv booked a ski holiday in Germany in feb.
