Help! Never skied before and me and my husband would like to go on a ski holiday, preferably to Switzerland. We have 3 children, ages 4, 12 and 14. Can anyone recommend a child friendly resort? And also any skiing tips, equipment etc would be very much appreciated.

any ideas I would like to stay in a hotel that’s as near as possible to the Mountain but that’s flexible if the price is right. The £1400 has to include flights from england and accommodation and lift passes (but not ski hire) look forward to hearing your ideas many thanks
PLEASE REMEMBER I’M FROM ENGLAND CHEERS

With the Euros currant rate so I was thinking of looking to Bulgaria. Its for two young men to go snow boarding – (beginners). Where would you suggest. Want to keep costs low once there and not too interested on the apres ski. Any ideal hotels and ideas on how far slopes are to the resort. Any ideas greatly appreciated

Hi everyone, I’m looking to find a cheap as chips skiing holiday to either – france, austria or switzerland. But it has to be for a month or longer, ideally I’m looking to rent an appartment as there will be three of us! I have looked as some of the major tour opperators and sites such as igluski and ifyouski but with no real luck, most only provide 2 week long holidays! Any ideas of how I can find some accomodation would be great many thanks.

I usually refrain form skiing over holidays but this year, the days New Years falls on is too tempting. There is only a three day work week, and any mountain time is better than staying at home and watching **** Clark. I was thinking Park City, or Heavenly, I know the crowds will be horrible, but what is the less of the two evils (crowd wise) here? I want a good town to party at for New Years, big mountain, and the least traffic possible. Any better suggestions? Merci beaucoup, thanks, and all that other good stuff.

I know that it would be only *her* doing the ski-ing but even so…
Is this appropriate at their age (they are nine, eight and three).?
I don’t want them to be breaking any bones as she will let them have a go nor for them to be neglected and left with strangers while she is showing off on the ski slopes.
