Im going skiing over christmas (im 16) with my mum and brother (14), and we all said we would buy each other a small gift to put in suitcases and give each other on christmas.

This gift has to be £10 or less and I would like to get them each something fun and maybe even ski related.

Thats a great idea, but christmas is like half way through the holiday and they’ll already have that stuff bought from before we set off, and I dont wanna tell them what im getting them or give it them early

I’m looking for great nighly rates and well priced ski lifts while also having great slopes. It’d also be nice to be located aroud some good bars or cool spots to hangout at. It needs to be for a week from sun 26 december 2010. A hostel or self catering appartement would be ideal. ideally with everything inclded plus ski pass and hire for under 500pp.

My spring break is from March 5th-13th. I was planning on going skiing at Holiday Valley possibly then because of the cold temperatures. I was expecting that winter would stay a little longer. However with the recent warm weather and loss of snow, do you think it would be a good idea to go skiing that week? Or would I lose money. I feel like there would be a lot of ice and closed runs. However, there wouldn’t be a lot of people either. I want real opinions…possibly past spring skiing experiences even.
