Sunday River in Maine is open, they are the first to be open on the east coast this year. They are pretty good from what i hear but if you don’t live close its probably not worth going up right now as they only have 1 run open.
Killington is making snow right now but still plans to wait til november to open. They seem to be pushing their new marketing campaign of returning to the way they used to be before all the cooperate management took over but we have to wait and see how that turns out.
Sunday River did just open after getting a few inches. They have been making snow for while, and have gotten between 2 and 3 feet made so far. They only have one trail open, but from what I’ve heard, it’s been nice to get some turns in in October and to be able to see the foliage.
There is some great stuff in Vermont, this article has a huge list…
Mount Snow has one trail open…the Launch Pad. It’s a green with some jibs and features. Nothing to get excited about unless you are desperate.
