I’d like to take a ski trip in late December or early-mid January. Which region has the best snow so far this year?

Some ski lifts cover a distance of a couple of miles of so – meaning that there is about 4 miles of cable without a break. Surely no lorry could carry all that cable?

I am planning a ski vacation this winter and I chose the state of vermont to be my destination. I need some advice though about which resort and when in the season. I went to Magic Mountain last year in the middle of a snow storm and I thought i was in heaven. This year im not so sure i’ll be timing a snow storm so well so i may as well plan a little more.

I’m doing a project on Ski Jumping, and I need to discuss ski jumping profitablity. My many searches on the Internet have led me nowhere! I basically need to know how Ski Jumping makes profits.

I have a pair of ski boots, they smell pretty bad, not of damp or moisture, but more musty, like they’ve been sitting in a cupboard with no air for 50 years. I’m talking about the inner sock of the boot. How can I get rid of the smell?

I’m looking to book a ski trip out West either the week before or of Christmas. I’ve skied about 10 different mountains, from Colorado to Wyoming and British Columbia. I would like to do it as cheaply as possible (which is almost impossible when you go West) But the accomodations/mountain have to be great.
