I am in chage of holiday decorations at work and I need some great ideas for a ski lodge theme. Suggestions?

How can I bend a downhill or cross-countrty ski, into a soft arch, without breaking it?

- Should I heat it if it is metal; or soak it, to try to warp a wood cored ski.
- It does not have to hold the shape. It will be fastened with screws, through the ski into the sub structure. Simply bend without breaking
