I will be spending Christmas in Alsace, France and would like to go skiing / snowboarding for a couple of days after that. The resorts in France are just too expensive. Any suggestion of a more affordable place for winter sports? In Germany / Austria / Slovenia perhaps?

I wear a size 5 wide leg which I rent from the local ski club when I ski on their slopes as I don’t have a pair of my own. I’m going to a Ski Resort in Pamporovo, Bulgaria in 3 weeks and i’m wondering if they’ll have boots in my size? Do they usually? I’m starting to panic!
