Hello, I would like to go to Iceland for a ski holiday (beginner to intermediate) and also to be able to see the northern lights. Does anyone know of accommodation and ski pistes that I can go to so I can do both things?

I’ll leave from London and I’m looking for personal recommendations rather than going to a travel search engine.

What would have good snow, good runs for intermediates and we’re aged 20-25 so looking for somewhere lively with bars and clubs and activities??

anyone suggest any particular resorts (in Europe) or accommodation they have experienced or heard about??

I plan to go for a ski holiday. I heard Ski resorts are very cheap in Bulgaria and Czech Republic. Which is prefereble and cheap. I would be flying from UK. I will have my 5 year old kid with me so would like to go to a family friendly place.

Any ideas about good resorts, cost of the trip would be very helpful.

I’m planning to go on Saturday to Hidden Valley NJ. It’s going to be 55 degrees and sunny. Is that too warm? Will they close?

I will be spending Christmas in Alsace, France and would like to go skiing / snowboarding for a couple of days after that. The resorts in France are just too expensive. Any suggestion of a more affordable place for winter sports? In Germany / Austria / Slovenia perhaps?

I wear a size 5 wide leg which I rent from the local ski club when I ski on their slopes as I don’t have a pair of my own. I’m going to a Ski Resort in Pamporovo, Bulgaria in 3 weeks and i’m wondering if they’ll have boots in my size? Do they usually? I’m starting to panic!
