Going to Alaska in May and want to know if there are any ski resorts near there open in May?
i want to go skiing next year and take my friends but we can only go in the summer were is a place near nj(1-4 hours away) that i could go that is “snows” in the summer
What is best way to get off-season rentals for my utah ski and florida oceanfront rental properties?
My properties are prime properties- ski-in ski-out in Deer Valley, Utah, and right on oceanfront in gated community next to Seaside and Rosemary Beach in FL. In-season renters are not a problem, but with these nice properties i would think someone would be interested for the off-season.
I’ll be alone for the holidays this year and would like to take a ski trip. I’m in L.A., so flying somewhere would be easy. I’m looking for somewhere that isn’t super expensive and is easy to get to if I fly into a nearby airport. I’ve checked travel sites and flights to Sun Valley and Jackson Hole are $500 +. Any ideas? I’m not sure how far I’d have to drive to find a ski resort near Tahoe if I flew into Reno. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I am 25 and really do not know what I want to do with my life. I love to ski and want to know what the best ski towns are. I am looking to be able to ski during the day get a part time job for a couple days a week and go to the local “watering holes” / bars on weekends. What would the best place to do this at for the rest of the winter? I am open to any ideas preferably Colorado, Utah and or Vermont since I am from the east coast.
I found a good deal on airfare to Salt Lake City, so I randomly picked a weekend to go.
Unfortunately, not only did I pick a weekend in the middle of the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, I also picked a holiday weekend (MLK day).
So, my question is, where would be a good place to ski this weekend to avoid the crowds? I figure Park City, Canyons and Deer Valley will all be slammed. Does that mean the rest of the resorts near the city will be relatively light? Or will everywhere be pretty much packed?
