what are the secrets to saving money on lift tickets and rentals?

We’ve been thinking about it, and we think a ski resort is a great place for our senior trip? Does anyone know of any good ski resorts that offers alot for high school students for a three day weekend.

Also, a place with some restaurants, shops, activities, etc.
Something like Seven Springs in PA.
A place with condos would be great! A kitchen and fireplace is a must since we would be there for perhaps a week.

Going to Alaska in May and want to know if there are any ski resorts near there open in May?
