I am going skiing near the end of february on a school trip to bretton woods, NH, from ireland.
I have heard that skiing is physically demanding and was advised to train before i go.
Anyone got training exercises or just general trips on skiing?
Any exercises to tone up or just become more fit – i want to be able to ski everyday and not have to rest due to injury.
All help appreciated!
Thanks!
I have a skiing holiday,

I am driving from London to Champoussin for a skiing holiday – do I need a proper 4×4 or will a RWD minivan be ok? Have 6 passengers so prefer a bigger vehicle but will arrange a 7 seat 4×4 if I have to. Are the roads gritted well, and is it safe with 2wd – especially rwd?
Last week I went on a ski holiday to Chamonix, France and absolutely loved it, only probably was that it was very expensive. next year i would like to do the same in France, but not in chamonix. I would also like to go a few days pre-season so its not to busy.
Thank you
My spring break is from March 5th-13th. I was planning on going skiing at Holiday Valley possibly then because of the cold temperatures. I was expecting that winter would stay a little longer. However with the recent warm weather and loss of snow, do you think it would be a good idea to go skiing that week? Or would I lose money. I feel like there would be a lot of ice and closed runs. However, there wouldn’t be a lot of people either. I want real opinions…possibly past spring skiing experiences even.
I want to go skiing over on the west coast the week between Christmas and New Years. Does anyone know the best resort for an intermediate skier with good snow and fewer crowds??
hi, im looking to do a ski holiday somewhere near geneva this winter…does anyone know an easy way to find ski resorts near Geneva airport? im finding it difficult to find much on the internet!
We usually fly from the UK to Canada to ski each year. Next season we are going to try and reduce costs by stating in Europe. What resort do you recommend?
One if us is a strong intermediate skier, the other an early intermediate. We prefer resorts/hotels right on the slopes or a few steps from the lift. Also, we like to take one day off from skiing during a holiday to do something else (ice skating, snowmobiling etc), and would like to find a resort with options other than just skiing.
Any country/resort in Europe is ok with us.
I bet this question gets spammed something rotten, but here goes…
I’m off to the Czech Republic (it’s cheap) with my girlfriend for a week’s skiing over Easter. I’ve booked flights via EasyJet, and have booked a hotel privately. I used to have annual travel insurance, but that’s expired. I have some life insurance, but it doesn’t cover medical costs for winter sports.
EasyJet offer travel insurance at £30/head, but I don’t know if it’s any good.
Can anyone advise..?
