We have a contest for best decorated cubicle at Christmas and I’d like to do a ski/skate/snow/ice theme. I’m going to cover the cube in white sheets, but I need some more ideas that are cheap.

Blue and white colors with small plastic ski boards that you can get at the dollar store (in the toy dept)
Wow what a cool office contest.
I think you should actually buy Snow Flake (blue with white snow flakes) wrapping paper to cover the majority of your cube and on the bottom cut out the white paper to look like snow slopes. Then you can use poster paper and draw skiers (cut them out) and paste them onto the slopes. Oh and you could also draw ski lifts on the slopes and snowflake area using a permanent marker.
Have fun!
Do a blue paper background and use white paper to look like hills – you can put some cotton behind the white for a 3-D effect. Take some aluminum foil and make it semi-circular to look like a frozen pond. you could also make some little snowflakes to look like they are falling. You could also but little figurines at the dollar store or walmart that are little skiers and use tacks to stick them to the wall!
You could use a potato stamp and paints and add some detail to your sheet..
Write things like ski pass as sign post..
