Ski was doing fine – slipped about half way off the trailer and landed on the ride plate. Did not come completely off the trailer – just stood up with the front still on trailer, but banged pretty hard on the plate. Just some gashes and small dents visible – looks like it may be bent very slightly upward – maybe a half inch. Next time to the lake it wouldn’t stop porposing.

If your water conditions are constant any small change to the jet pump may cause performace probelms. Bending or loosing the seal around the ride plate may cause probelms. If you have ever shopped for impellers you know that a pitch change isnt always visible but can have effects on better or worse performance depending on the capabilities of the skis engine. Make sure the conditions are apples to apples and go from there.
