How much would it cost to get the carbs cleaned on a jet ski?

There is a jet ski for sale that “runs great” but it needs its carbs cleaned. How much would this cost? Also is there anything that could be wrong with the jet ski if the carbs needs a cleaning? Thanks!

    That depends on how many carbs are on the engine, how much your local shop charges an hour for labor, seals, etc. To have the 2 carbs cleaned on my motorcycle (its a “V-twin” so 2 carbs), it costs around $200. Shop time is like $95 per hour, plus all of the new seals and any adjustments (synchronization, float adjustment, needle shims, etc). It can be risky, especially if you don’t know there is something wrong with the carbs.
