Went to a local ski shop to get ski’s and they recommend Nordica Nitrous. I was a good intermediate skier back when I skied, which has been a few years. These skis from what I read are for advanced, the ski shop says they are forgiving enough for an intermediate. Any suggestions?

Those are definitely forgiving enough for an intermediate. The nitrous is one of nordica’s softer skis.
should you be buying or renting? if your thinking of buying try a good ski-rental shop in resort and tell them you intend to buy. They will let you try several makes, you will be suprised how helpfull they will be, usually they return any rental charges you have paid towards the cost of your the new skis. Dont forget to ask for a big discount aswell, I did and was well rewarded by having the skis I wanted at a very low price.
