I want to calculate how much it costs a ski resort every time I go up the chair lift in a very approximate sense. Basically taking the amount of energy requird to move my body up lets say 1,000 feet and multiplying it by the rate that ski resorts pay for each unit of energy. I need to know the average rate a ski resort pays for electricity.
