		<description>GS is usually the easiest. Most people start with GS and many NASTAR races are GS as well. I&#039;d say 90% of my races in HS and college were GS races as well. You also get a very good base to move to other types of racing if you learn GS first. 

Slalom is a lot tougher than it looks and I actually think Super-G is easier to learn than Slalom. Downhill is a piece of cake if you have the balls to go that fast. The first time I ran the DH run at Whiteface I was like &quot;HOLY S#!T!&quot; and I was just doing it for fun on a set of 200s. I tucked most of it but I pulled up a few times because I got nervous.
