Where is a good place to ski/snowboard in south america?

I am planning to take a trip to south america this summer and ski/snowboard. I do not have much experience with south america (but i do speak spanish) Does anyone know of any ski resorts in maybe chile? The vacation will be for 2 people.

Would it be winter there in june?

    Go to Bariloche in Argentina. Its stunningly beautiful. And yes it would be winter there in June..

    Bariloche is the most popular tourist ski resort. If you want some really unique spectacular place, go to Termas de Chillan in Chile. That place is AMAZING. You have to take a short flight from Santiage to Chillan, and then a van from the resort (called “Termas de Chillan”). The town itself is ugly. But, the slopes are fun, not as crowded as American ones, the place is really beautiful and the resort has a lot of amenities. At least give it a thought!

    Yes it is winter in June and Chile has a number of world class ski resorts, some not far from Santiago which gives you options in where to stay.
