But there are a lot of cheap and nice small hotels (Pensionen) around the area as well which are rustical and still close to the slopes and the city center. One of my favourites: Pension Licht. In general, there are 3 different places to go if you’re up for party and snow:
- Kitzbühel
- St. Anton
- Lech
For families, you should prefer the area around
- Reit im Winkl
- everything close to Innsbruck
